Cruise to Mars has been CANCELED 9/18/2008

We have really been excited about attending the Cruise to Mars with you all. We've worked really hard on planning activities, shore excursions, lining up Celebrity Guests, working out hotel accommodations, and so forth. However, the response for this event has been less than expected and at this point, it looks like we're going to have to CANCEL the convention.

I promise, we are as disappointed as you are.

  • As a consolation, we will be refunding 100% of Event Tickets
  • If you have already booked a room at the Marriott Hotel in Downtown San Diego on either Friday night November 28th or Thursday night, December 4th, Marriott has agreed to honor the discounted room price, if you choose to use it, or you may cancel your reservation with no penalty.
  • Carnival Cruise Lines also understands the misfortune of our event and has agreed to help us out. They have given us the following offer: "Anyone who is currently booked on the (now canceled) 'Cruise to Mars' may retain their inside cabin (currently sold out) for the discounted price of $359.00 (double occupancy) including all taxes and fees."
  • The cruise to Cabo San Lucas is nearly sold out. All inside cabins and balcony cabins are sold out. If you were to book this cruise without the discount the price would be $434.17 with taxes and fees, plus a $45 fuel fee. That's 479.17 per person! So the discount they're offering us is over $120.00 OFF per person! You aren't going to find a better deal than that.

If you decide to take Carnival's offer, we will still refund the convention portion of your event ticket, plus we will give you a Carnival in-cabin credit good for cocktails, gratuities, souvenirs, etc.

Once again, we are incredibly sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause.  Please accept our most sincere apologies and understand that we are doing our best to make the most out of this situation.  And, please, contact us if you have any questions.
